Deputy Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our clients residential home in Looe. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their facility, focusing on promoting a positive environment for all residents.

• Job Title: Deputy Manager

• Location: Looe

• Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting on-call duties as required.

• Overseeing medication administration procedures.

• Demonstrating strong leadership skills to direct and guide team members effectively.

• Promoting a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.

• Implementing team development initiatives to enhance performance and skills.

• Upholding integrity and honesty in all interactions and decisions.

• Acting as the accountable authority in the absence of the Manager.

• Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and procedures.

• Ensuring the well-being and safety of residents and staff members.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Health and Social Care.

• Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a similar setting.

• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards residents.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

• Thirty-two days of annual leave.
