Our Complex Care team cares for children, young people and adults who are living with complex healthcare conditions. The majority of our work is within the service users home but, can also include travelling with them to appointments and taking them out to attend different settings.

As our team grows so we need to recruit new people and therefore, we are always interested to hear from people who have worked for at least 2 years as a Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Senior Healthcare Assistant. Whilst experience of working with people who have complex health conditions is preferable it is not essential.

Some service users need us twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Each carer works in shifts with a team which is supported by a Team Leader. Carers can work full-time or part-time, however, we do need some flexibility around what shifts are worked.

As our carers are often the only formal carer in a person’s home so they need to be good communicators who are confident talking to service users, their families and other healthcare professionals.

As the users of our services can live in more rural being a car driver is essential.

If you would like more information about working for Complex Care do give us a call on 01803 262003.
