I started Ocean Healthcare in October 2013 and love it! We’ve had an exciting journey so far and we’ve got great plans for the future. We have been blessed at Ocean Healthcare to have so may great people choosing to work with us. My role is to ensure we stay true to our values as we continue to grow and continually seek to build excellence in to all areas of what we do.

I joined Ocean Healthcare in September 2016, following a career in Recruitment of over 22 years. My role includes: Retaining and Growing Existing Accounts, New Business Development, Manage the customer experience with Ocean, Support Recruitment, Support Bookings Co-Ordination and Manage the delivery of our company sales and marketing plans.
Random fact: I have a passion for interior design and spend my spare time painting and upcycling pieces of furniture to make someone’s junk another man’s treasure!
I have been a registered nurse since 1984 having completed my Paediatric Nursing at Great Ormond Street and my adult nursing at King Georges Hospital in Essex. I joined Ocean in December 2015 and currently work part time as the Lead Nurse supporting our members to deliver high quality care. I develop training and work with our care homes to ensure their needs are met. I have a lovely Cockerpoo that I enjoy walking in the lovely areas around Torbay.

I joined Ocean Healthcare in January 2017, my main responsibility within Ocean is to recruit Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Nurses. I really enjoy what I do and it’s great to meet the new members from the beginning and watch their Ocean journey.
Something about me: My rule in life is to go on holiday twice a year, which I have achieved since I was 18, I’m definitely a beach bum!
EmmaArea Supervisor - North Devon
I mainly work from our Barnstaple office but you’ll also find me at Exeter branch fairly regularly. I also get to visit our Head Office in Paignton regularly to work with the rest of our amazing Team. As well as all that I am also a Moving and Handling instructor for Ocean Healthcare and a Senior Carer, so I get to work with all are amazing clients and members as well.
Random Fact: My hair colour is always changing – I’ve noted it makes Ken’s eye roll to the back of his head! I get called the North Devon Weirdo! in a loving way lol because of random stuff I come out with! And apart from spending time with my family and friends, I love all things crafty. 😊.
I joined Ocean Healthcare in February 2018. I’m a Recruitment Administrator and also help accounts with processing the time sheets. Fun fact: I’ve been rowing for Brixham Gig Club since 2015 and I’m a huge fan of the NFL.
I joined the bookings team at Ocean Healthcare in October 2017 and I look after the Nursing division and Key Accounts within the business. Customer service is at the heart of what we do at Ocean Healthcare & the best thing about my job is the great relationships I’ve built with my nurses, carers and all my clients.
About me: In my spare time, you’ll most likely find me either on a beach or in a country pub with my French Bulldog!
I joined Ocean Healthcare in September 2017, I cover North Devon, Mid Devon, Exeter and East Devon. On a daily basis I deal with a wide range of Clients, covering their staffing needs with our fantastic Members – there is never a dull moment and I love it.
About me: I’m animal mad and you won’t lose me in a crowd – I have bright hair and haven’t had a ‘normal’ colour for over 10 years!

I have worked for Ocean Healthcare since November 2017. I am a weekend booking coordinator for our branch in Paignton.
About me: I enjoy running and I’m hoping to compete in a 10k run.

I joined Ocean in November 2017 and am working as weekend bookings co-ordinator. I work every other weekend – 2 days on 12 days off what’s not to like. Moved last year to sunny Devon and love it! I also love to sing and belong to a local choir.
I look after and manage Payroll, Suppliers Payments, Banking and Cash Management, Credit Control, Management Accounts, and all accounts matters within the business.
About me: I volunteer for 3 local charities within Torbay, supporting Children throughout the Bay, and further afield.
I manage all of the timesheets, processing them and making sure the carers are paid on time. A large part of my role is payroll related but I also assist with the other aspects of accounts within the business.
About me: I am originally from Leicester but moved down to Torbay a little over 5 years ago and never looked back.
